This policy explains what data bebuddy.app collects and why. We collect as little as possible.
Who we are
bebuddy.app is run by Thunder Team, 207/1/1, Road 2, North Shyamoli, Dhaka, 1207, Bangladesh.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across sites.
Hosting
bebuddy.app is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
Fonts
Our fonts and icons load from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when it downloads them. Google's use of that data is covered by its own privacy policy.
Contact form
When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email, website URL (if provided) and message. The form is delivered by Web3Forms. We use this information only to reply to you.
Affiliate program
If you apply to our affiliate program, we receive your name, email, website and your answer to our question through Web3Forms. We use them to review your application. If we approve you, we share your name and email with Freemius to create your affiliate account.
If you reach bebuddy.app through an affiliate's link, the link first passes through Freemius, which records the visit and sets a cookie on its own domain. If you buy within 60 days, Freemius credits the affiliate who referred you.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Freemius, Inc., our reseller and merchant of record. Freemius collects the payment and billing details needed to complete your order, under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email and license details so we can provide updates and support.
Inside the BeBuddy theme
When you activate your license in the theme, it sends Freemius your site address, the name and email of the WordPress admin who activates it, the theme and Freemius SDK versions, and whether the theme is active, deactivated or uninstalled. We use this to verify your license, deliver updates and let you move your license to another site.
The activation screen also lists optional data you can switch off before you activate: your WordPress and PHP versions, site language and site title. Your list of plugins and themes is only sent if you switch it on. We use these details to keep BeBuddy compatible with your setup.

Why we use your data and how long we keep it
We use contact messages to answer you, affiliate applications to review them, and purchase details to deliver your order, updates and support. Analytics data is only counted in aggregate. We keep messages and purchase records as long as we need them for support, and as long as tax law requires.
Where your data goes
The services named above (Cloudflare, Google, Web3Forms and Freemius) may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time. Contact us and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
